LEONARDO GRACÉS

Leonardo Gracés was born in Buenos Aires in 1977, where he continues to live and work. He is a filmmaker, photographer and audiovisual producer. He studied at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón School of Fine Arts and trained in filmmaking at CIEVYC.

His practice focuses on documentary photography and experimental video, exploring gestures, bodies, public space and relationships of proximity.

In 2012, he received the First Acquisition Prize for Photography from the National Library of Argentina. In 2018, he presented his first solo exhibition, Maquinal, at the Recoleta Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires.
