Paula Lafuente
Paula Lafuente (Madrid, 1983) is an artist, psychotherapist and independent researcher.
Doctor Cum Laude from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Cuenca with the thesis Desire as resistance in body art: The practice of tactile listening (2020). She has participated in the permanent research group Los margenes del arte. Intentos de emancipaci´øn (2018) and has completed the master’s degree in Scenic Practice and Visual Culture by UCLM in collaboration with the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (2015). Lafuente is a specialist in Psychotherapy and Psychodrama from the Madrid Association for the Study of Psychotherapy and Psychodrama, has a Diploma in Dramatic Art from La Cuarta Pared (2008) and a degree in Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2006).
Lafuente is an editor at Voces de Otrxs and a psychotherapist and content creator at Beta Vitae.
In addition, Lafuente has screenings and groups in cities such as Mexico City (Ex-Teresa Museum), Oxaca (National Museum of Contemporary Art of Oxaca), Los Angeles (Los Angeles Cine-Fest), Birmingham (Be Festival), Coimbra (Fonlad Festival de Arte Digital) and Madrid (Alcalá 31 Artmadrid, Festival PROYECTOR), among others. She has received two special mentions for his video work (Mem Festival Fundación BilbaoArte and Premio de Videoarte del Astillero) and has published in Accesos and Interim, a magazine subscribed to by the Black Mountain Institute and the University of Nevada.
