MW

MW (SP/PT) is an artistic identity working with audiovisual creation and moving images between Spain and Portugal. Their practice explores found, recorded, and recovered images from personal archives, examining how the passage of time transforms their meaning and allows new narratives to emerge.

Through editing, fragmentation, and recontextualisation, MW transforms materials from previous situations, actions, and experiences into autonomous works. Their practice moves between video, performance, and experimental cinema, with particular attention to the body, memory, and the small gestures that survive beyond their original context.
