Cyril Galmiche
Cyril Galmiche was born in 1981 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France). He is a multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg (France) in 2007. He has developed in specific ways the concepts of ubiquity, non-narrative and distancing in his practice of video and photography. In general he works on our understanding of reality that he captures in singular places of urban areas, while sometimes inserting fictional micro-elements of daily choreography. In each project, he decomposes and reconstructs the urban space by interweaving different times and spaces. He currently lives and works in Paris.
