EUNICE PAIS

Eunice Pais is a Portuguese-Mozambican multidisciplinary artist who lives and works between Esposende and Porto. Her practice spans video, photography, installation, sculpture and textile manipulation. Drawing on different personal and cultural inheritances, she investigates relationships between memory, body, landscape and ecology.

Her work questions forms of coexistence between species, geographies and narratives, while also addressing dynamics of visibility and invisibility. The body frequently appears as a liminal space in which intimate experience, family history and speculative imagination intersect.
