LORENA RUIZ PELLICERO

Lorena Ruiz Pellicero (1991) es una artista visual española actualmente radicada en Barcelona. En sus obras de ella utiliza objetos de la vida cotidiana que le permiten jugar en un espacio entre la realidad y la ficción, en el mundo de los dobles sentidos y las metáforas. Le interesa encontrar el humor y la poesía en los elementos inanimados para humanizarlos, sentirlos, jugar con ellos.

Lorena estudió un Máster en Fotografía Contemporánea por EFTI International School (Madrid) en 2015 donde encontró su forma de expresión a través de la fotografía. Tras unos años colaborando como editora de fotografía y fotógrafa para el diario EL PAÍS, ahora está totalmente centrada en trabajar en su obra de arte. Sus obras han sido expuestas en diversos espacios de España y otras ciudades internacionales como Roma, Berlín y Hanoi.

Lorena Ruiz Pellicero (1991) is a Spanish visual artist currently based in Barcelona. In her works, she uses daily life objects that allow her to play in a space between reality and fiction, in the world of double meanings and metaphors. She is interested in finding humor and poetry in inanimate elements in order to humanize them, feel through them, play with them. Lorena studied a Master’s degree in Contemporary Photography from EFTI International School (Madrid) in 2015 where she found her way of expression through photography. After a few years collaborating as photo editor and photographer for EL PAÍS newspaper she is now fully focused on working on her artwork. Her works have been exhibited in diverse spaces across Spain and other international cities like Rome, Berlin, and Hanoi.
