
Letícia Larín
Born in São Paulo in 1982, from 2012 to 2016 she was based in Lima, and since 2017 she lives and works in Lisbon. In 2018, the artist presented a performance at 515 Bendix (Los Angeles), in 2017 at the ABLI – Lima Art Biennial, among others. In 2018 she participated in the Paul Artspace residency (St. Louis, MO), and in 2016, in the Atalaia Artes Performativas (Almodôvar, PT) and in the Rat Puerto Mitla (Mexico City) artistic residencies. Her main solo exhibitions were at Lima – Ricardo Palma Cultural Center (2018) and Socorro Espacio Polivalente (2015) -, and in 2017 she presented two large installations in Portugal (Casa da Cultura, Ílhavo, and at the INATEL building, Braga). The artist participated in collective exhibitions in Peru since 2014 and in Brazil since 2002, among which Concurso de Arte Contemporâneo Joven (CCRP, Lima, 2014) and Paradoxos Brasil – Rumos Artes Visuais 2005/2006 (CDMAC, Fortaleza; Paço Imperial, RJ; Itaú Cultural Institut, SP).
